Last Friday, the night before the Cat Griz game, which would mark the end of Can the Griz, members of three different Fraternity and Sorority houses spent a couple of hours of their time hosting a food drive at local grocery stores. Their work was not in vain, either; we may have lost the game, but we sure Canned the Griz! Bozeman raised 100,939 lbs and $47,445.38! Missoula finished with 56,498 lbs and $60,992! In all reality, I’d say we all win- to be able to raise that much in donations for your local food bank is amazing. Hopefully no families are left hungry this Thanksgiving!
Check out all the good work the Fraternity and Sorority members did to help out:
Thank you Chi Omega, for collecting tons of donations at Albertsons!
Thank you Pi Beta Phi, for collecting tons of donations at Safeway!
And of course, a huge thanks to Pi Kappa Alpha– with only two men, they managed to fill two carts+ full of donations at Rosaeurs, and assisted the Gallatin County Food Bank with loading it all up (in very cold weather, I should add). Great work men, we appreciate it!
Thank you to everyone for spending part of your Friday night supporting such a great cause! Lets Can the Griz again next year!
